Well, Pestilence had a hot date tonight, so he started the Apocalypse a little late...

Seriously, I ended up *still* getting the time wrong- even after checking here and everything. I ended up going and reclearing the first few areas +Trist to catch up a bit.

Once I hit level 15, I had a choice to make: Stick with the meh-ish envy gear I was using to keep in character, or switch to the 1.07 RC for some more oomph? I ended up keeping the envy gear and throwing some poison explosion into the mix once I hit 18.

So, Pestilence was really just a pest, a minor annoyance this time. I'm going to re-twink, though, and see if I can't find something to put on him to keep the theme, but maybe be a little more effective. Unfortunately, he won't really be a badass until level 62 or so, when his poison nova will be maxed and he's wearing 3-part Trang's.

Uh. Interesting thing going on here, guys, and it might mean I'm out for tonight as well. Earlier today, my mom was stampeded. She is a cowgirl out in Colorado, and a coupla bulls tried to rush her. She got behind a steel gate, but they ran into it and busted it open. She is currently in the ICU with a broken nose and a badly lacerated abdomen- the gate sliced her stomach open. I'm spending the night trying to arrange things so that I can fly on out and help her once she's out of the hospital, which oughta be in a few days.

Sorry to miss again. Really, this is the sort of thing that I just should have seen coming when I committed to play in this game :rolleyes:

If the party is too small (like it was last week), I'll probably just postpone hosting until more of our group will be accounted for. (We are in Act 5 NM stalled at Baal currently in case you missed it)

And a quick heads up, there's a chance that not this weekend, but next weekend, (~Oct 25), I might not be around to host. Just lettin' ya know now.

Wow. I really did not know how much I depended on you guys as meatshields!

I've made it through the Maggot Lair, but it is slow going and lots of deaths, even tho I have broken the merc rule :( I have to take a few minutes here to do some stuff. I'll check back before I start up again. If any of you other horsemen are a little behind as well, and haven't done whatever the next blocking quest is yet, maybe we can team up so I can be ready on time. Otherwise, I fear that I will be late to the party tonight.

Hey all. I just want to apologize for missing yesterday's session. Something came up early and I never had a chance to get back to the computer for the rest of the day (I had intended to play so I'm sorry I missed A3).

Unfortunately, I think I have about a 10% chance of playing next week as we are hosting a bunch of people at our home next weekend and probably won't get a chance to get away from hosting duties that night. Still, I'll let you know later with a definitive yes or no.

Nice job there. I've got Death into A5 but wasn't free until a short while ago. I should be able to get Anya so that I'll be all caught up next week.

It's looking good for a Death visit tonight (although 7:30 is right about when the kids bedtime routine is going so I may in a little late). On the plus side, Death has rescued Anya and is now level 75 and able to equip The Reaper's Toll.

Just a heads up for everyone here: after doing some electrical work a few days previously- and accidentally cutting power to my computer when it was turned on- I have had only occasionally been able to get my computer to cooperate with me. Fortunately, it is Christmas time and so I may be able to finagle some help with replacing it. Unfortunately, I have no idea if I will be able to be present tomorrow- and I won't even be able to post here if I'm out. If I am more than 15 minutes late, and haven't posted anything, just assume that I am staring in helpless rage at my blue-screen-of-death :(

edit: I waited around for 35 minutes but only smilts showed up. This was one of the easiest last nights for hosting for me (now things are gonna start to get hectic), and I don't want this hanging over everyone's head over Christmas and such. We've already pat'd the characters so if everyone would please send me (liquid [a] uwyo [dot] edu) their skills, stats, a screenie of their LCS, and any final thoughts on the builds, and I will write and post our end game write-up. In short, we don't need to continue meeting. Thanks for your patience and thanks for the participation. I hope everyone enjoyed the group and MP experience half as much as I did. Yep, the computer is definitely down- I'm writing from school. I have a friend coming over tonight to help me look at it, he says he may have a few ideas about how to fix it. Otherwise, It may be a bit yet before I'm able to send that stuff your way, Liq. On the upside, since I saw that there were some problems, I do have a complete backup of all my characters and stashes, so I will be able to get that done eventually (and I won't have to do a complete restart even if the comp is done for good).

Since I don't know when I'll next be able to post/communicate with you all, I'd just like to say thanks for the fun times to all of you, and a special thanks to Liq for the great idea and for hosting this shindig.
