View Full Version : finished normal?
I just finished D2 LoD on battle.net on normal dif. Now everytime I join a game it automatically sets my dif to nightmare, my question is why that and how can I join a normal dif game?
The game is created on a certain difficulty, its not set separately for every player entering.
You can't see normal games anymore with this char, only NM ones, but you still can create a normal game yourself. Or login with a new char, remember a game name, and join it with your old char.
ooo, tnx. Now I restfuly play on :P.
One more thing my current char is a non-ladder one, what is the deal with ladder and non-ladder, cuz just minutes ago I wanted to play with someone and he was ladder and I couldn't join, is this also when I want to join games, like if I have a non-ladder then all the games will be with non-ladder chars and vice versa?

ladder exists in a seperate 'world' from non ladder characters.
In a nutshell, NL cannot join L and L cannot join NL games.
thanx again, and since you've been of such great help, I hope you won't mind me asking another question.
When I go into the game and battle.net and so on, and when I'm in the "chat" it says that the game is curently being played by like 30000 players or some big num like that, my question is where are all these players and games, since when I want to join a game on lets say NM dif and non-ladder there are around 20-30 games with avarege of about 3 players, I hope you see my conffusion.
Thanks again.
1) The game does not show all available public games at your difficulty level.
2) Many players are in private (passworded) games which never show up on the join list.

Also, I imagine that includes all ladder, non-ladder and open B.net games. 2/3 are not accessible by your character.
