I am using a C/C setup with Tiger Strike/Dragon Tail.
Main Claw: Shadow Killer
Off-hand: Jade Talon

Does the % mana drain from the Jade Talon work with Tiger Strike or DTail?
I want to put an Amn Rune into the Jade Talon if the leech works.

I also have 2xBartuc's I can use. I would like to use the Jade Talon due to resists and FHR (+50 resists and +2 to both trees, great roll so I would like to get full use out of it).

Only the main weapon mods (leech, elemental damage, etc.) are transferred to the charge release (dragon tail). Offhand leech will only work while you build up the TS charges when your offhand hits.

Thanks, I was pretty sure about the kick damage transfer.
1. Does TS act as a 2 claw attack or a 1 claw attack while it is charging up?
2. If 1 is true, does mana/health leech from the off-claw get used or is it wasted with TS?

Sorry to re-ask the question you answered aerogear, but TS seems to act as a 1-claw attack while charging rather than a 2-claw alternating attack.

You're welcome!

Well I wasnt sure about your first question so I verified both on arreat summit and in game, and you are correct in saying that tiger strike will only attack with the main hand claw.

Off hand claw is just for show (and stats like resists, etc.) and offclaw leech mods dont apply, neither to tiger strike OR release (with dragon tail/talon/fight). Not sure about dragon claw but I think it uses both claw weapons, I dont know wether TS applies to both claws though.

You are probably better off running with 1 claw/shield setup, altough jade talon is a solid bonus boost on its own. Depends how much you want to invest in dex to achieve decent block since claw block is fairly powerful, and kickers need a good amount of strenght for boots requirements.

Thanks for the info AeroGear. I have been playing D2 since its release and the game mechanics that govern assassins have proved to be complex; I'm never sure what I'm seeing in game is working correctly. I've done a pure kicker before but this is my first attempt with a c/c setup. I agree that a shield would be better, but I'm rolling in claws (2xbartucs, jadeT, and SK) so I want to show them off. Sort of a power for style trade off that makes the game interesting.
