This would be killer. No hunter/druid bull **** (pardon my french) I wanna see a beast master core class. Ah that would be so cool man :)

Sure sure, we have a pet class (witch doctor) but I have never seen a game with a class relying solely on a pet (or maybe multiple pets). Well, the necro from d2 is pretty close.. but a necro is a wayyy different type of class than a beast master type class.

Beast master =

(If this was mentioned before, oh well, I mentioned it again lol)

And this probably WON'T come true, but if it does I would be SOOOOO happy and would definitely be playing it over the monk/witch doctor (can't figure out which one I want to be heh) :)

How would you feel about a beast master class, and what kind of skill trees do you think we would be seeing?

The reason you haven't seen it is cause it's boring.
You don't fight at all? Stand on the side and actually don't do anything?
Boring. And clashes with the fast pace of D3.

However, I will be VERY happy to see some REAL pet control. Not just summon and they act on their own. But skills that will act as commands to all of your summons like- Attack (specific target), group together, protect target (yourself, for exmaple), hold a line etc.
This would be AWESOME. I really hoped Blizz would implent this in the WD, but meh..

That would be a strategy game. You can try Warcraft 3.

Throw in a bow and some can do attitude, then its a class!

Also, what if rather than a horde of pets (oh the lag), you could just have certain moves that would quickly take advantage of an animal and then they would disappear. I dont know like, some sort of animal barrage, a pack of dogs summoned from in front of you ruch forward damaging everything in thier path and then disapear?

I don't really see the problem as long as it remains just one aspect of the character. It would certainly be a distinct play style from the other classes (though nonetheless still click-heavy) and we know Blizzard has no qualms about mixing the genres if they work.
