The Warrior Priest or Battle Priest is sort of a Paladin from D2 only with a twist and summonoptions. He will be a "holy-figther" and his skills will be based on "faith and steel" and his favo weapon is the warhammer. Big mauls like in d2 and smaller one-handed or throwing hammers.
Skill-trees:

1. Gift from god(summoning)
In this skilltree the "Priest" can get skills to summon hammer-type weapons from the gods. For example: A big two-handend maul, wich will also stun nearby enemies or two one-handed warhammers for double attacks, or a throwing hammer with holy damage. Their will be a lot of hammer types improving with the lvls (for example: adding range,damage, lithning or holy damage etc.)
(the damage etc. of the summonweapons will be equal or slightly better,to weapons available at the lvl you ar)

2. Steel (defence)
This skilltree will surround defensive inprovement and will have skills to improve items(gloves, helmets, body armor etc) but will alszo have skills which to boost your natural defence. These skills canbe passive and active. For example: skills wich will improve durabilaty or defece of items. A passive skill wich will give your enemies damage each time they will attack you. A passive skill wich will improve your defence overall. A active skill wich will double your defence for a periad of time or will turn your body into steel for a a few seconds.

3. Faith (Holy spells)
This skilltree will give the "Priest" all kind of spells. A little bit of help from god. These can be based on attacking the enemies or helping(healing) the "Priest" and also his party. Example skills: Speed up time: this spell will speed up time arround the "Priest" wich will make enemies a lot older, this will weakening and slow the enemies(it will make them grandpa's:wink:)
Another skill idea: ray of light, the skies will open and god will ray down rays off holy light across the land, damaging the enemies.

Seems like a good start. You should fill out some more of the skills, give us a better understanding of the spells.

Some extra info:
Gift from god(summon)
The warriorpriest will not summon hammers to fight for him, but he will directly receive the hammers from the skies(heaven) into his hands. So he fights with the summoned warhammers himself..

Faith(spells)

Speed up time(spell)
All enemies in a certain radius from the warriorpriest will be touched by god and as result they will age rapidly making them much,much older.
Lowering their attackspeed with 5% and also slowing down their movement with 10%.
Spellradius and % will increase every lvl.

Ray of light(spell)
The warriorpriest will pray to god for help, as result the skie will open up and beams of light will ray down across the land, damaging every foe in their path.8-12 holy damage, damage increases every lvl.

Deticate(passive)
This will make the warriorpriest more deticated to his believes and have more faith in the help of god. His prayers will be answered faster.
Slows down castingrate with 2%.
% will increase every lvl.

God's messenger(buff)
God will reward the warriorpriest for his deticated believes and gives him the angelic power of levitation. This will speed up his movement and gives him no movement restrictions (for example: move over water)
Speeds up movement with 5% for 40sec.
% and period of time will increase every lvl.

Steel(defence)

Holy blacksmith(spell)
The warriorpriest is a master of steel. With the holy blacksmith skill he can repair his own items.
Durability of the selected item will increase with 1% and will be fully repaired

Heavenly armor(buff)
All forces of evil will be punished for attacking a man of god. Every time they attack the warriorpriest they will receive an amount of damage right back at them.
Attackers will receive 15% damage from their own attacks.
Heavenly armor will last for 20sec and the period of time will increase with every lvl and also the % of damage will increase at every lvl.

Man of steel(buff)
The warriorpriest will cover his entire body in steel, making him a steel juggernaut with very high defence but slow movement and attackspeed.
Defence will be raised by 50% and movement and attackspeed will be reduced with 20% for a period of 10sec.
Period of time wil increase with 5sec every lvl.

Hammercross(dual-wield)
When activating hammercross the warriorpriest will take a defensive stance, making a cross with his warhammers, blocking the first attack from a foe and counterattacking him with a devastating double blow.
100% chance of blocking the first melee-attack, 50% chance of hitting a counterattack.
% of hitting on counterattack will increase by 5% every lvl. Every 2 lvls up will result in one extra counterattack.

God's defence(passive)
The warriorpriest will combine his mastery of steel with his faith in god to improve the defence of all his items.
Overall defence from items the player is wearing will increase with 2%
% will increase every lvl.

Hi!

Pictures are from Warhammer lore so i don't think they are going to make something that looks like it. Also they have stated that paladin is not coming back and that is pretty much paladin as paladin is a holy warrior. I don't think Blizzard will rip of something for diablo so straightly from an other companys MMORPG (Warhammer online).

I must say the skills look pretty nice tho. Tank, dualweild, aoe debuff, aoe damage, summons, slower casting rate (ooh yeah) and idnoclip.

As much warriorpriests are good idea and look totally awsome, i really don't think they will get into the game. Tho, i think one of the two remaining spots will be a melee/caster so you never know!
