View Full Version : Diablo 3 Story & the Diablo Lore!?

Is , or how much Diablo 3 fits the Diablo Lore that has been revealed so far!?
Does it contradict it and if so - how?
If it doesn't fit it shall we expect a new parts of the Lore?
In other words is Diablo Story/Lore something finished and fixed or it Hints of possible Progress?

From what i have gathered it fits quite well, tho i don't really know the D lore, but nothing stupid has been revealed.

I'm a bit confused. You seem to be overly enthusiastic about the Diablo lore and how D3 will fit in and you seem like you don't know anything about it? IMHO good way to get some insight is to go to the d3 homepage and dig trough the information that is there. Blizzcon is also knocking at the door so you might want to look up what they are revealing there.

How about the Diablo books!? Isn't the game/s based on them!? Aren't they the Lore!?

As far as D3 is concerned, the books are canon.

yes, I've read several of the books. and no i don't think they will have anything to do with the plot of d3 because none of their author's are credited with the blizzard writing team.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the Diablo books more or less amount to fan fiction set in the Diablo universe.

Disclaimer: I haven't actually read the books.
