So I have my runeword Lore circlet and I love it, and I just got Peasant Crown of NM Baal. Now Peasant crown has crazy + vit and + Energy, twice that of Lore (with energy), but lore has the nice 30% lite resist. Which should I use?

If you need the L res use the Lore or socket the peasant crown with an Ort. If you don't need the res then take the peasant crown and socket it with whatever you do need :).

Well in general i'd use lore but peasant crown will be much better if you spend a socket quest on it.

I prefer peasant crown for the faster run/walk. Doesn't really mater what you pick asrt they probably will be temporary hats.

I like Peasant Crown too. For the timeframe I'll use the helm, I seldom need LR. But FRW is useful even if it's only for running around town.

Well since it only really matters till you can wear a Harlequin Crest, I'd say take Lore....the +2 Mana After Kill is a very nice way to help defuse the high cost of AoE spells like FO and CL, especially in solo games. The LR is nice too, since its usually LE mobs that will be the biggest elemental hazard for midlvl sorcs.

Course if you really wanted to socket it (I wouldnt...) then you could Tir your PC and get the same effect....

Neither really makes that big a difference compared to the effects of a Spirit Sword, anyway. And FRW, you should be using Sander's boots and have 40% already anyway :)

more = better. ;)

(unless you're playing a PvM Whirlybarb, that is)

yes but past 40% or so, you get diminishing returns. The difference between 40 and 55% is a lot less than between, say, 20 and 35%.

... and the difference between 0 and 30% lightning resist in normal and nightmare is virtually unnoticable. :D
