D3 free to play?

I think no offical word from blizzard - BUT there will be a singleplayer so it would be vague if you have to pay to play - online..

There was a blue post that said that Starcraft 2, out of the box, will be able to play on Bnet. So, therefore D3 will be free to play on Bnet.

They realy should make it pay to play. So many ppl complain they want regular updates/fixes/monitoring the realms/rust storms/etc. Will we get this if it turns out to be free again? Prolly not. Personally I doubt they make it entirely free again, Blizz should have learnt from D2 considering that this game has been in constant need of patching to fix hacks and exploits. To tackle that problem you need a bunch of good guys working for you = $$ = make ppl pay to play

In order to do any sort of hacking, duping, etc. they would have to somehow screw around with Battle.net 2.0. Blizzard is going to keep updating and fixing B.net 2.0 with revenue from Wow, SC2, D3, and others. So there won't be any problems like we have in D2.

Yes playing D3 on battle.net will be free.

However I have heard that there are discussions about additional optional pay services that add trivial things to your account.
