Tomorrow I will do my first hellfire quest - will I succeed?

Hi all. I just build me a K/T cuz I think kicking is funny and getting corpses to explode is funny as well. I've only done ut with a 1-p smiter so I'm a bit concerned how this K/T will manage. Compared to a normal paladin I don't have much life and that's my biggest concern (besides ar). But you need to know my stats before you guys can give me a go.

Lvl 90:

Life: 1158 (doable with this kind of life?).
Max Block.
Mana: 261.
Ar: 13586 (enough?).
Lvl 25 DT (5 kicks).
Lvl 16 Fade (somehow I managed to put one too many in this skill, dunno how).
1 pointers: DFlight, MB.
Max DS.
Max LS.

19 skill points remaning.

Gear:

G. Face / Kira (15% ias).
Metalgrid.
Jade Talon (shael).
Duress.
SS (pdia).
Dracul's.
Dual Raven.
Tgods.
Upped Gore.
Assa Torch.

65% cb with G. Face. 30% cb without G. Face.

Switch:

Life tap stick.
Monarch (4 x pdia).

I will use fade and kira vs meph.

Res vs meph:

75% all except 85% light.
9/3/3/3/3 kicks.

Res vs others:

Same as vs meph.
7/3/3/3/3 kicks.

What you guys think? Can I do it? If yes, any tips would be nice :thumbup:

I just did it, but I died a lot. I stopped counting after 20 deaths... Izzu was easy, duriel was easy too, but andy ripped me once. In trist I decided to take on meph first - he ripped me bad (or maybe it was his skellies). I decided to go clockwise (I never do that) and that was a bad idea cuz I spawned baal on my way to my corpse (I will go counterclockwise as I'm familiar with the next run). After taking meph down I went for diablo. He didn't kill me, but he might as well have done that cuz my life was really bad a numerous of times. Baal just flat out owned me... Thoose mana drain spectres just made my day very hard...

Trist was at this point swamed with phys immunes so I decided I had had it... I almost quit... But then I returned with my zerker to clear trist...

I went in and tried take on baal, but it wasn't going good, so I decided to give lightning sentry a go (what a clever idea, cuz lightning sentry ripped thoose mana drainers! I maxed a synergi with my remanind 19 skill points). Now baal went rather smooth.

I need more ar for sure. I had trouble getting life tap to trigger on a regular basic.

I'll give trist another go with superior tactics (lightning sentry) and more ar later today.

If you can miss the resistance from metalgrid and the 10+dex from Ravens you could go for a Angelic ring.... But I don't know if that would be worth it considering the losses.. you'd gain AR+ life... lose 10dex + Resistance... and defense if you care for that stuff...

Cloak of shadows should be quiet useful if you want to hit the boss (if that work that is)... You Blind your enemies + get more ar % since your enemies drop ar%...also, that will let you focus on the boss himself ... theo only problem is that you'd have to recast though..

Perhaps using your Shadow Warrior; and having Cloaks of shadows on the right click would make her drop it on the enemies whenever she can....

Getting a lifetap charged wand would probably be a good option too, you could run away if in danger; and be able to re-cast....
I don't know how effective that would be though

What about using fleshripper instead of JT for most of the bosses? The - def might help a lot.

This makes me think that my dtaloner couldn't handle panda event either. So maybe I should make a pala.

A lot of people think -def helps vs bosses. It does not. They all have high block, so returns are minimal. Worst case is ubers, where they are mlvl110 and 50 to 55 % block, if u use a 4 eld weapon (-100% defense) thats 3% extra to hit at most.

And I have tried kickers and Im disappointed. With 22k AR they still miss a lot, because the kick animation is really bugged.

I would like to wear angelic, but the loss of 33% res all metalgrid is just too much.

I really need the res that JT provides.

Maybe I could switch JT, metalgrid + 1 raven for wizardspike + angelic combo + res all gc. Would that be better?

I did use CoS, but recasting it wasn't always an option. I barely stayed alive (and I died a lot). 99% of the time my top priority was to land a hit in order to be semi-safe. I just didn't feel that I had time/health to recast.

I haven't given this another go, because I wanted to see some replies first. It seems like I need way more ar. If 22k isn't good enough I may never give this another go. Maybe my next project should be to get a standard of heroes with a ribby dudu. After all I did manage to get the standard of heroes once with my kicker.
