Is Treachery RW worth the Lem?

I have a martial arts assassin, and I'm trying to decide what armour I should get. I'm not fabulously wealthy so stuff like Enigma and Chains of Honor are out of my price range. I've noticed the assassin runeword Treachery (Shael Thul Lem) has a nice 45 IAS, 20 FHR, +2 assassin skills, and 25 CtC level 15 Venom to boot. The only drawback is that there is no enhanced defense. Is this worth the Lem rune, or should I look for something else? Right now I'm using a Vipermagi that I found. Thanks.

Yup, it's one of the items with the best usefulness/price ratio.

Defense is irrelevant in PvM.

The only drawback of Treachery on a sin is the CtC Fade, which means if you like BoS more it'd be very frustrating. However, if you have trouble maxing out your resists without Fade, then it's okay.

Treachery is very good on Bowas and mercs, and is used by Uber runners to prebuff their resists with the CtC Fade, so go ahead and make it in a good base armor (not too good either, save those for trading). That Lem will be well spent.

yeah, i'd say it's worth it. in fact, my PvM ilkori'sin swears by a treach.
