Thought I'd do something different this time. I wanted to share with you as I build the next Fiery Runes Series. Your opinions and suggestions will be vital to this next series.

First off is the Nameplate:

"The Guiding Star"

I thought I'd go more original with this nameplate. This time it has a graphic that I created while i was tinking with the D3 logo. It created a star and I thought I'd use it for a later image. The nameplate is in beta form, and I will be fine tuning it as time goes on. The backdrop is of a symbol from Cain's Journal; page 13 (http://diablo.incgamers.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=735&cat=551) i believe.

Since I've over-used the Des Systema Alchemy a little too much I thought it was time to try something different more original and unique. I may try and do something original with the fiery runes themselves as well too. But that will be for another time.

Please feel free to give comments and suggestions as I work on this new nameplate for the new rune series.

Thanks!

HK

Here's a tweak of the nameplate,

I noticed it was originally too bright... damn you monitor and graphics program glitches...

This time around i thought the design behind the star was rather plain. So i chose to add a picture of the world map from the diablo3.com website to add some more depth to the image. I also tweaked the runes some more around the compass in the background to be seen a little better but not to dull. Also decided to brighten up the text more like i do with the iPhone wallpapers. Also modified the Compass in the back to be more refined, and less of a redish tinge on the top half.
