Resistance Stacking: How much is enough?

I'm debating whether my pub hdin should use res all charms or single res charms. I don't want to have to swap for different duels, so I want him to have enough stacked res to tackle any taker. I'm pretty sure I can get away with using single res light/cold charms, but wanted an opinion on how much of each resistance to shoot for, especially fire res. Worst case, approximately how much -res for each element could you be up against?

Thanks, that's just the sort of stuff I was looking for. I did search something, I think either just "resistance" or "stacked," but nothing useful came up.
