View Full Version : Last skill for my bowsorc

I'm going to build a Bowsorc as in MongoJerry's guide, with Death Machine for PVE and Widowmaker for PVP.

I'm concerned about the last skill choice. Mon's guide offers a fair number of alternatives, but none is presented as the best.

I pretty much ditched meteor for the lack of synergies, and inferno because the channeling makes me unable to shoot at the same time. I'm trying to decide between static field, orb and fire wall.

I'd personally prefer to stick to fire wall, it's a skill I've always liked and it's got impressive damage. Obviously, I'd be limiting myself to one damage type, but I don't really know to what degree that sucks. Do you think that with the widowmaker or some gear in switch I'd be able to take fire inmunes just through seer physical damage?

Even if I chose not to take fire wall, the alternatives don't make me the ultimate fire inmune killing machine either: Static field is more of a support skill, and an unbonused orb doesn't sound too impresive, specially with the complete lack of FCR.

So, help me! What skill should I train to make the perfect Bowsorc? Keep in mind casual PvP with my friends is my priority, as well as beating the game in a group.

If you have 26 points to spend: Frozen Orb. It doesn't really need FCR and you have a switch.

Firewall doesn't do anything you aren't already doing better.

+1 for this.

I've done a few enchantresses, and in my opinion FO is the best backup skill an enchantress can have.

Alright then, Frozen Orb full power!

I still have 10ish points to spare at level 94 (what I'm aiming for), and I'm not sure whether to drop them in cold mastery (and whip out a buriza, or even a Kingslayer if I feel like it from time to time) or in Static Field and be of more help for groups.

What do you think?
