During my time here using the trade forums, I've noticed that from time to time, using the search feature to find certain items often takes multiple searches in order to be complete, as many people list items using their own personal acronyms or shorthand on their FT/ISO lists.

My suggestion is as the thread title describes. Create a list of standardized terms for items in the game and post it in the rules/guidelines thread for each trade forum. This way, running a single search will bring up a much more complete set of results, and a fair amount of acronym/shorthand confusion can be avoided.

This is a wise suggestion.
If you want to put this together in some nice format and pm it to me or in a nice word doc and e-mail it to me I will post it in the guide lines part of rules thread. And will ask the other mods from realms other than east to post it as well.
Keep in mind that lingo often differs from realm to realm, acronyms vary from user to user and it might not be easy to agree on one standard but it can't hurt to set some guides.
