Latest News section

I'm using the default skin on this forum (I assume, since I haven't changed it myself), and the links in the Latest News section on the left side of the screen are pretty much invisible. It would be nice if they looked more like the Quick Nav links, which are very easy to see :)

I tried to upload a screenshot, but my usual imagehost refuses to work.. the links in the Latest News section are black on a dark burgundy background, while the links in the Quick Nav section are red on a greyish-black background.

It's browser dependant, I came to learn. I am using FF3 on Linux and the links are nicely bright red on a dark red background. Iirc IE messes it up slightly.

I'll second the issue with the Latest News box. Issue is not only browser related, but the quality and settings of a screen make it hard to read as well. I'm having trouble with it at work, due to a visor on my scrfeen that prevents other people seeing my screen.

Simple fix from black font to something lighter, like the forum default orange would be lovely.

I have to tweak those things a bit as I updated the nav bar last week. I'm still to update that on the other skins that Pals get to choose from, so those skins will have different menus on for now.
