Rabies Sockets and Dropped Games??

OK so I'm starting this Rabies Druid because I found a 3os helm with +3 Rabies and this unique sword with +5 to Rabies. I was wondering what sockets to use (beside facets) since I'm playing untwinked. This Druid is meant to be for PvM but I keep on hearing things like it gets dropped out of games a lot??

Is it because of using the skill or the Poison Creeper? I remember when I had a Rabies/Summon build, I never got dropped out of games and I think when I had an IK summoner, I was using Carrion Wind and I would be dropped out of games sometimes. So is it the vine that drops people from games or is the poison just too much?

They are probably talking about the torch issue. Happens with bow zons, zeal pallys and fury druids.

Rabies as well has been known to drop games along with creeper.

As for the question on socs it all depends on what gear you come across and what runes,jewels and gems you find. But aim for FHR (Shael) Resistance (Um rune,Jewels and Certain gems in shields) and of course any facets you find.

Rabies drops games with or without Torch/Creeper. If you bite and infect a decent amount of enemies you're going to drop the game.

Yeah, thank Blizzard for coming up with half-assed solutions to stop lag duping. Now they make two skills for the Druid nonviable in PvM.

DAMN! That just sucks =/ I didn't know the Rabies bug was that bad... This looked like a really fun Druid too. What about if Rabies was used as a secondary skill for other Druids? Like as a wolf summoner or Fury Druid?

Well I just scrapped my rabies/fury drooid. I get pissed off enuff getting dropped on my pally with just a torch, I don't need more problems. =/
