MF Mechanism with Skellymancer Question

I know that your character's MF applies to both your merc and your various minions, but your merc's MF does not apply to your character. My question is, does your merc's MF apply to your other minions?

Also, in the case of corpse explosion, since the necro is using that spell to kill the monsters, then does only the MF of the necro apply to those kill drops, and not the MF of the merc?

The merc's MF doesn't apply to other minions, and when you kill something with CE only your MF counts.

Your merc is more likely to get the first kills, or deal the final blow to bosses than your skeletons are, so if you have more mf on him, you can enjoy the spoils.
