Hello, i have a skelemancer lvl 50 currently and here are his stats:
str:85
dex:97
vit:117
energy:31

stat points:
20 skeletal mastery
20 raise skeleton
1 in everything else in summoning except fire golem

1 teeth
1 corpse explosion

1 amp damage
1 weaken
1 terror
1 decrep

now for my armour

chest:Heavenly garb light plate
wep: Necromancers bone wand of the wraith
2 to necro skills, 1 to fire golem, 2 to iron, 1 to attract
homunculus hierophant trophy
nightsmoke belt
trang-quls claws
2 manald rings
runetrample demonhide boots
golemlords amulet
3 to summoning skills
summoners circlet
1 to necro skills

okay so i dont know what to do with my skills anymore here are a few of my ideas, i could...
-max a golem of my choice(clay is my preference)
-20 to corpse explosion! to own up hell mode
-i could max a few bone spells.... make him a bonemancer/skelemancer but i dont know how to do that.
-max raise skele mages :o which i dont like, i hate the mages, but its an option.

i dont need any to curses i have enough plus skill points, thats what i think.
What should i do? where should i put skill points now? im confused. What armour do i need betteR? I have enigma waiting for me when i have enough str, which im gonna raise by using items to raise his str. im looking for marrowalks and archnid mesh on my hell characters.

I need to know where to put my skills. Any advice?

for basic pvm play, max CE for sure
after that you can dump points into mages or bone wall for bone armor to soak up some damage
also a few points in revive and summon resist is a good idea

I usually go with some more CE and max mages.

Unfortunately, the bone skills require massive investment in synergies to get any real damage from them.

Bone Armor could be nice, but realize that it'll probably only be relevant to a summoner 5% of the time, if that. You have a whole wall of minions to protect you.

Okay so max corpse explosion, ya i dont find a need for bone armor because i have nine revives, 11 skeles, 4 mages. the chance that a guy will actually hit me is rare. it only happens when i run to far ahead. Okay so 20 to CE, what else should i get? what about golems? or golem mastery? i could max like golem mastery and ce. make him like a pure summoner if i maxes golem mastery and a golem?

Golems/Golem Mastery are best left at just one point, unless you're using some crazy expensive items for an iron golem.

Do not max CE. Totally unnecessary. 10 points is more than enough. Especially if you play with other people in the game, say you're MFing solo with or 3 other people in the same game, CE won't be that useful.

Mages have so much more utility than CE these days. I'd recommend you max them, especially if you get Thorns on your mercenary.

you can always max both haha
and a maxed CE is very useful imo, but you can put just the 10 in it and max the mages, either one will help you kill things faster. so having both will make things a breeze

i always thought they stunk, maybe they didnt have enough points in them... my summon resist is like 9 without skill points. should i raise that any more?

-Mages won't do as much as your regular skeletons, but they make for excellent supplemental damage, especially against Physical immunes.

Lightning mages do the most damage
Fire mages do the second most
Cold mages do a little less than fire, but chill monsters. Useful for bosses, can be annoying if you use CE a lot.
Poison mages are only useful for preventing monster heal. Their "damage" is essentially nonexistent.

-Summon Resist: Leave it at 1 point. Skelemancers have tons of skill bonuses, and Summon Resist has severe diminishing returns.

There's no worth in maxing a golem.

Clay golem slow effect: a 1-point golem with +skills gets you more than enough slowing
Damage: Even with ALL golem skills maxed, a single skeleton does more damage than any of them, except for Iron Golems made from powerful weapons.
Life: 1-point golems (with +skills) rarely die. When they do, you can just re-cast them immediately anyway.
