Best merc for PvM poisonmancer?

I'm thinking either holy freeze act 2 for defense or prayer/insight combo for general no-worries. Are there better options for a poison necro?

I prefer holy freeze merc with ethereal obedience thresher, guillame's face, and ethereal duress. Use occasional life tap curse if you see his health drop and it will instantly restore. This merc set-up just totally destroys act bosses and whatever poison immunes you encounter.

Yeah, I am thinking HF merc is best if your golem sux and dies.

If i was using enigma and fcr at a decent %, I would use defiance or prayer/insight. It will be teleporting to wherever you are.

Invest a bit into Attract. This will make the defending skills of a merc be less of an issue. I cast Attract on 2 rear doods of a monster group and it leaves me and merc to kill without confrontation.

I then also use a higher hp iron golem. That's three defenses. Sometimes HF doesnt fire fast enough to chill. Other times its really useful. I think with the dawn of insight/prayer, this option is best for teleporters, and defiance + obedience is awesome for tanking. It makes for a brutal armour rating I noticed on my merc. Needs a lot less leech or fancy gear.
