Hey I haven't played D2 in years and was wondering what characters are the best in dueling and why. I made a mf sorc for gear, but cannot decide what to make for dueling.

it all depends how annoying you would like to be. good all rounder hate char is paladin, cause they have no manners ( usually ) and if GM i would recomend ed/fire, but pvp sorc aare ludacrisly expencive.

so you can get full trang poison nova mancer that can do nice dmg.

what type of dueling; HLD, MLD, LLD and do you plan on actually being in proper duels or just being a pubstar?

The pub duelling top tier consists of hammerdin, bone nec, windy, V/T, BvC and Ghost. (did I forget any build?) It's very hard to rank them internally because all of them have several weaknesses.

ES/FB sorcs, trappers and some other elemental chars are fine as well but easy to absorb against.
