Hey guys, this may not be the best place to ask for help, but I figured I am benefiting others to, so its all good.
Right, onto the thread. I want to break the top 100 amazons. I am level 90, and I want to hit 96 (to be in the top 100) by this weekend. To do that, I figured baal runs. Lots of them. With a full game. I'll post when the games will start, what the first one is going to be called (Breakinghun-xx) and if I get enough competent people, the pass.
"What do I get out of this?" you ask? Well, you get lots of exp, the chance at magics, and to play with competent players (none of that "1 4R 1337 101") to play with. You also get my everlasting gratitude if I do break into it.
What I expect out of you:
Be good, not bad. Bad is bad, in the traditional sense of the word, meaning undesirable.
Have a decent build. I don't expect perfect builds. They are nice, but not totally necessary. However, I don't want a utilitarian build. I want builds focused on what they are designed to do. hammerdins hammer, lightning sorcs do their thing, that kind of stuff.
Don't come looking for equipment. I want you to have decent gear already. I don't want someone coming in the game and asking for free uniques.
Be fast. I want to not be able to join the game 30 seconds after its finished. That means less than 5 minutes a game.
Thats what I expect. I would say if your not living up to your requirements I will kick you, but I can't. So I will kindly ask you to leave. If you don't, I will set a new PW and whisper someone else to fill your spot.
So onto what I am looking for.
A Sorc-Your job is to find the Throne and TP up. I would, but zon cast speed it pitiful at best.
A Paladin- Your job is to kill the LIs that we can't break. Provide auras, preferably fanat.
A Mojomancer OR necro with LR- Break the Immunes. Provide DPS via your curses so everyone else can deal more damage. I wouldn't prefer a zoo keeper, but I will take you if no one else steps up.
Everything else- Your job is to kill stuff. Lots of stuff. Provide what buffs you have ( I have a CTA 5/6/4, thats why barb isn't listed there)
So, in conclusion, come kill big things with me so I can get exp, you can get exp, and possibly some items. The only preference I will have on chars are those three listed up above. Otherwise, come one and come all.
Runs start tomorrow at 1530 EST (3:30 pm). Remember, you can't get all the xp if you don't come, so post here.
PS. If you have any suggestions on how to make this go faster, please post them. I like efficiency, and anything to make it go faster and smoother is better.
