PVM necro poison or summoner

hey guys
im back from a long break (4 (years) and trying to set up a pvm necro, but having some problems to decide wich way to go...posion or summoner

since ive never played hell i was wondering wich one is a easier boss farming build? and not that gear based..and is CE that much better than PN ?

ive read that a poison build is hard to play in hell?

would appriciate any sugestion

one last question..and yes im kind of a newbie on this game compared to you...whats "synergies" (spellcheck) what everyone is talking about

since it's your first character from scratch, a summoner would be much easier to do on crappier gear...whereas you'd struggle more to make a decent poison necro from scratch

synergies were added a long time ago as a way to boost skills by investing into separate skill(s) that "synergize" with it. just for example, bone spear receives damage bonuses from teeth, bone spirit, bonewall, and bone prison. only investing hard skill points count toward synergy bonuses (i.e. +skills do not add to synergy bonuses).

oh ok i see...forgot to patch to 1.12 thats why i didnt see the + syn dmg :)

MF = Magic Find. It's a modifier that you can find on gear that increases the chance of finding magic items (and set & unique items). Get a lot of those on your char, and you'll be able to farm set and uniques.
