Killing FCers?

Hey guys,

Ive been dueling for a few days now on USWest and have come across a few FCers (farcasters) who have been killing me, specifically CS zons.

Im wondering if any1 out here has a PvP build/guide that can either handle them or specifically made to take them down?

If not, what kinds of items should one use in order to nullify the damage of CS?

Throw on tgods + 2x wisp and punch them in the face.

what character do you play? In general you will need some absorb and possibly some stacked resistances.

Fight fire with fire I say.
Get your stacked res smiter.
strap on a doomz(or HF aura witha grief PB, whichever, not like it will end up being a hard duel either way ;) ).
Put on a tgods+wisp.

My ww/trapper can often win without absorb, just some extra stack do it for the common kiddy fcer. Traps + ww really messes up their dodge skills and makes quite a few of them little more then a sandbag for you to gut.

Wind druid are another class that is better suited for killing them.

The real buffoon fcers need to be absorbed to a certain extent though.

my es sorc without any abz or over staking can take them down.

she is lighting/boltress

in this case, you just HAVE to love bolts on them ( dodge animation ) and lighting them to death ( t gods and your bolts heal you )

A lot of javazons use tgods so bolts will do less damage. From my experience it seems a lot of FCers will break out of the lock before you kill them, unless you're dead long before you reach them (not using stacked res and abs).

Any character can beat a FC zon with enough res an abs, the key is to beating them fast so they can't escape. If they can escape they can annoy you. If they can't you nk them until they leave.

i just laugh at them with my 95 % light res stacked smiter.

just walk arround them with stack + sorb. They will eventurally give up :).

There are tons of ways to counter an FC zon. Some I can think of off the top of my head:

Resist Lightning
Salvation
Wisps
Tgods
Cyclone Armor

Just make sure whatever pvp character you create, you have some sorb stashed away for bm duelers.

my smiter has a maxed resist lightning aura and wears a Dwarfstar/Raven rings combo as standard.

if i see i'm being FC'd, i might (but often don't) flip on resist lit and smash 'em.

sometimes (very rarely), i'll use a tgods and smash 'em even faster (95% res +20 integer 'sorb + 13mDR = zippo damage from Charged Strike)
