Hey there! Yes I know, not the best PvP choice as far as paladins go, but I like making under-rated builds. I'm thinking of creating an Avenger that also uses Fist of the Heavens. I've looked through the 1.11 Avenger guide, among others.
Couple questions.
- Is Grief a good weapon for an Avenger? I've never dabbled in Vengeance, so I'm not really sure how it works. If not, what are the best choices? Maybe a Crescent Moon to work in conjuncture with FoH and perhaps...
- Auras? Is it worth it to compliment Vengeance with elemental-aura runewords such as Dream or Dragon? Or should I concentrate on more defensive gear because the added damage isn't worth it?
- Does maxed Vengeance get a decent attack boost? Or will AR be a problem? Should I wear Angelics or will like... Metalgrid and a Raven Frost be enough?
- Let's talk shields... is Stormshield my only option for the max DR? Exile is tempting for the Defense boost... would that be worthwhile? Perhaps a Ber'd HoZ for all around goodness? Kinda at a loss here.
In short, my main concerns are "what weapon/shield?", "attack rating?", and "elemental auras?"
