Level 30 Mage Paladin
Do you want to start low level dueling?
Do you have a constraint on your budget?
Do you want a character that is effective even with a low budget?
If you've answered yes to the above questions and more importantly don't mind being called a "lamer" or anything of the like then this guide is for you.
A mage paladin utilizes Fist of Heavens(foh) and Blessed Hammer(bh) along with helpful auras to preform in the pvp arena. Some of you may be familiar with the hld type with all the complicated skill/stat/gear choices, unlike the hld version the lld version is actually quite simple and in my opinion only have two variants in skill placement and gear. The reason for a mage paladin instead of a regular hammerdin for lld is a simple one -- enigma -- without it hammerdin can only charge and drop hammers, while this can be effective vs melee range characters it does not work well for ranged builds. By adding foh to your arsenal you now have a moderate damage, long range attack that will provoke more aggression and chip away at opponent's life points.
Stats

Gear
Average set-up
Helm - Peasant Crown 12 replenish
Armor - Vipermagi 35/13
Weap#1 - Spirit Crystal/Broad/Long Sword
Shield#1 - Spirit Aerin Shield 45@res base (this with spirit sword needs 65%fcr combined)
Weap#2 - Honor in 3Foh 1-3Conviction War Scepter
Shield#2 - Any Spirit Aerin Shield 45@res base
Weap(in stash) - Insight in a Rune Staff
Belt - String of Ears 15dr/15mdr
Gloves - Magefists 30ed
Boots - Sanders/Cowking set boots
Amulet - Rare 2pcom/1pal, 10fcr are required. Mana, life would be nice adds.
Rings - 2x SoJs
Charms - 40x 15life scs, or 10+life/8+mana scs.
Socketing - Any jewels with beneficial mods will do,or perfect gems like pskull, ruby or even sapphire if you're desperate for mana.
Everything there is not very expensive so try to get near perfect variables on them. One thing you have to pay attention to is how much mana you have. I find anything below 500 to be a hassle so just keep that in mind when trading for equipment.
E-bay/jsp donor/pixel-buyer set-up
Helm - Rare 2pcomb, 20fcr, 2os required. Life, mana etc are good adds. Socketed 2x 24max jewels.
Armor - 3os 80life Light Plate with 3x 24 max damage jewels.
Weap#1 - 35%fcr Spirit Crystal/Broad/Long Sword
Shield#1 - 35%fcr Spirit Aerin/Crown Shield 45@res base
Weapon#2 - Honor in 3Foh 1-3Conviction Divine Scepter
Shield#2 - Spirit in 65%ed/100+ar Aerin/Crown Shield
Belt - Crafted 5%fcr+ belt with nice mods
Gloves - Magefists 30ed
Boots - Sanders set boots
Amulet - Rare 2pcom, 10fcr are required. Mana, life would be nice adds.
Rings - 2x SoJs
Charms - Mix of 3max/15+ar/15life and 15life/12mana scs. Get mana over 600 with hammer switch then rest can be max/ar/life.
Socketing - As said all should be 24max jewels in armors.
Because there's no plus skill on the armor, 2pcomb would be better over 1pal so your Hammer and Foh damage stay good although lower aura skill levels. PS that rich thing was joke =) many people are rich because they know how to trade and been at it for a long time. Crown shield can be used since there's already plenty of strength invested to use divine scepter.

Dueling
(A small note for the average gear set-up users. Whenever I mention charge or foh won't be effective in this duel that means you use the opposite. For example,"foh sucks in this match" means you need to use the insight.)
Vs Melee
In most cases they will be more focused on damage with stuff like 3os life armor with max jewels, or 65ed max jeweled shields. This would be a nice duel to use foh in, just always keep a few hammers up around you when they eventually try to charge in. After the initial duel they might switch in more resist or they just straight up have mass life and foh barely does damage. In that case if you can stay close yet out of melee range, eventually hammers will win the duel for you.
Vs Casters with teleport
99% will have block and 99% will be using vipermagi so charge and foh won't be too good here. Synch hammers where you think she will be is pretty much the least dangerous way to win. You could also charge her if you feel she did not namelock you, or be lame with foh+med regain.
Vs Casters without teleport
Forget foh, use charge because they need to be running out of hammer fields throughout the duel. It's best to come in from different directions with hammers and also a good idea not to stay near them for too long when the desink wears out. There's not much time to charge before they start casting again so don't mess up too much... Bonemancer and fissure druid are the harder two of the bunch so be more cautious when dueling them, don't stay on their screen too long or you'll die fast.
Vs Bowzon
For average zons, charge will probably win the duel for you if they can't read you well enough to know when to swap to jav/shield. In dueling with a experienced bowzon, never stay with her for too long. You need to constantly be coming in towards her from different directions so no arrows hit you. Chip away at her hp with foh is effective as they're all glass cannons. Also I find placing hammers in the opposite direction that she's is shooting to be a good tactic because it's very likely they run backwards. This duel is much easier if you have the divine scepter with shield then you can block any jav attacks and have a good fhr breakpoint not to mention the versatility.
Vs Trappers
Notice bowa and trapper are separated from main groups because they are special/hard. FoH is no good here, you won't get it off or it'll be blocked while you take trap damage. Again you need to place hammers well, hopefully she'll be coming towards you with traps instead of camping. Lay hammers in her path if she chases, if not charge in and lay one hammer then get out and repeat the process. As her trap field gets filled with hammers spinning there she'll move out, that's the small window of opportunity to charge, or hope a hammer hits while she is running.
That is all thanks for reading my guide. Hope you have fun with this build.
Special thanks to Chris(user-name) for getting me started with lld advice and itamz.
As well as the lld gang for answering some questions.
