Hi, I'm just wondering if lets say a lvl 30 valk is able to tank anything in pvp.
I'm thinking about building a zon with good frw, high life, tele, high res, high dodge/evede/etc and a high valk and max block. Maybe also life rep.
Damage will not be inportant. I just want to see how long such a build will servive in pvp. I want to annoy people by shooting weak GA al the time at them, but escape there attacks constantly:)
It would be fun if it worked.

It most likely won't work.
First of all, anyone who teles will always be faster than you, so in principle you can't escape, no matter how much frw you get. You can get a good amount of hit point, but when not dealing any kind of high damage, what usually seems like a lot of hit points isn't very much, not in the time frame I believe you want your duels to be. The problem with teleport and amazons is that even if you get a ton of cast rate, you're still too slow to be good in pvp, usually as assassin would do better in GM pvp with tele + widow than any zon with tele + guided arrow due to the cast rate. Remember the diminishing returns on dodge/avoid/evade. Valkyrie can be elemental immune, but nothing else, and most opponents won't focus on your valkyrie, unless they need to leech some hit points or they're afraid of the damage it might do. If you're going to run a lot max block won't help you much, you can walk all over the place, but remember you're then 2 yards/s slower than otherwise.
No amount of life rep, unless you use rejuvs or in some cases health potions, can work effectively enough for such a build. Usually life rep has to be factored with 25/256 to get translated into regeneration pr. second, or which is just about 1/10th effectiveness. So even with 100 life rep, you'll only gain 10 life pr. second. Given you can hold out in a duel for 3 minutes, that's 1800 extra life, impressive yes, given that you don't have full life at any time, but still not anything that makes you able to survive any longer in reality.
Again for such a build, I believe something like a widow maker + mind blast + wof/volcano + BoS + teleport assassin would do much better, you've quite a low damage, you can quite easy get away from most opponents by using stun, you can gain a faster run speed than anyone except a barbarian (yes faster than a charging paladin with vigor), you can even claw block most attacks if you've dual claws on switch for traps to further irritate some opponents, you can even use CoS just to make their screen go black or use a shadow warrior for the stun effect.

Yes, maybe an assa would be better. I just want to make a build that focusses more on serviving than on killing, but at the same time being able to deal some damage so that people get annoyed by it.
Any other builds or tips would be apriciated.
Ps, how about this: Zon with maxes sm, ga, valk. Stash full of frw charms. Cast sm and valk, then run around casters like a madman. Valk attacks and you shoot ga.
Against melee chars, maybe put on some slow movement gear and use same tactic. If you have enough frw isn't it possible to escape every telestomp attack?
Or +passive skillers in stash and harmony on switch for frw. For a more buffed valk.

all minions take full damage, there is no pvp penalty so...valk is useless unless its there to take a FOH hit or something.

If you want to shoot weak GA's (compared to all out Bowazon) a Bow Assassin using Venom and Shadow Master or a Bowbarb with decent increased speed sound like better choices to me.

Valk does pretty good damage. It's not bad on telejabbers/bowazons.

The thing is however that such a tactic should never work against any competent opponent, valk attacks slow, and amazons teleport slow, combined it should be easy avoidable, and jab should never be able to maintain a recovery lock.

Yeah, but there aren't much better places to put those points in for those classes anyway.
Valk attacks slow but a lot of the time enemies will come to you and attempt telestomp at which time there's a chance it'll do some damage. I find it's more useful than an extra few % in dodges or something.
For the build the original poster is mentioning, you'll most likely have a decent amount of + skills to begin with. Additional points in dodges won't do much. With max GA/critical and 1 point in everything you need, you'll still have enough points to max out valk without any problems.
