Hi all! I already posted a similar thread in the Single Player Forum. I didn't get much replies there, so I figured I'd post it here as well.

I'm trying to find the maximum HP that my Clay Golem can have for my current Poison Nova-mancer (Anarchrote).

Some info:

- He's wearing +8 to all skills right now, with no additions to the Summon tree. So every skill in the Summon tree will be boosted by 8 points.

- The only 3 skills that are learned in the Summon tree are Clay Golem, Golem Mastery and Summon Resist. Nothing else, so Gumby isn't synergized by his fellow Golems.

Right now, at clvl 88, Anarcrothe has got 6 skill points left. After using a Necro Pet Calculator (http://tph.tuwien.ac.at/~gottwald/necro_pet_calculator.html), it seems that it would be optimal to have these stats:

Clay Golem: 14 (= 1 Base + 8 to all skills + 5)
Golem Mastery: 10 (= 1 Base + 8 to all skills + 1)

So, dumping 5 of the 6 points in CG, and 1 in GM. That way he'll have 4578 HP, according to the calculator.

I'm planning to take him further than clvl 88, and looking at the optimal slvl for the Golem skills, it seem that you need a difference of 4 points between the Golem and his Mastery, in my situation. This is the planned distribution:

Clvl 88: CG 14 - GM 10 with HP = 4578
Clvl 89: CG 14 - GM 11 with HP = 4884
Clvl 90: CG 15 - GM 11 with HP = 5192
Clvl 91: CG 15 - GM 12 with HP = 5516
Clvl 92: CG 16 - GM 12 with HP = 5843

Have I made any mistakes while doing this? Did I forget to take something in account here? Any more info you can give me? All input is welcome!

Seems like you did everything okay. Good luck with the build.

I started making a Necro just for fun while waiting for the 1.13 patch, and I started reading about it online and became very curious about the clay golem hit points. I have heard a lot of conflicting information. For example, Arreat Summit says this:

"Golem Mastery adds more Hit Points to the Golem's Original Base Life, not the Life shown with more than one point into a Golem skill. Clay Golem: 100 HP, Blood Golem: 201 HP, Iron Golem: 306, Fire Golem: 328"

According to this, and checking the skill charts, it would seem that a 20 clay and 20 mastery setup would only give 1165 hit points. The pet calculator gives hit points in the many thousands.

Which is correct for 1.12? Did this change in a particular patch?

Welcome Newcomer to The Darkness. Grab a brew :guiness: and feel free to raise some corpses.

The pet calc gives the correct information. I can't say for certain but I think that Golem life changed around the 1.10 patch. Arreat Summit is a bit behind in some areas.
