so i need more damage that ds at 100% is 100% more total damage, the 15% can hypothetically be 15% more total damage. the cb and 15str also nice adds so if i don't need anything in particular from helm like dr or resist, i could use it instead of arreats or jalals for examples right? cuz it's just a little less ar u know but more damage i believe. but then i dont see anyone use it, in the field of bvb, or anything vs high life opponents that cb would be effective
I've seen some bvbs use it but most of the ones that I've seen who don't use Arreats use a visionary modded crafted helm with high life and str mods and ideally 2 sockets.
Regarding druids I doubt any pure druid player would be caught dead wearing one since it's so ugly. I personally prefer Cerberus over Guface for melee v melee on a druid but it is definitely a viable helm and certainly has bang for buck

guillaumes barbs can work, but tend to have AR and defence issues. the mods on an arreats are just so hard to beat, guillaumes is a specific build choice.
i use a guilly face on my 50k charger. but then, he doesn't give a rats about wussy "defensive" mods.

i use it on my 49 charger. until i need res then i swap in rockstopper.
Works very well on MLD's.
You can strap it on a nice MLD smiter, fury, charger or zealer.
Also I have used it on my HLD hybrid fury/rabies with an edc, gores, and those CB gloves who's name I cant seem too recall.
Main helmet along with CoA on a BvC.

You of course meant CoA AND Arrets.
my barb uses it,
total ds
31~ammy
20~sword
15~helm
15~boots

No - Gulli. The mods are so damn juicy, it's used versus non-physical based opponents.

Vs non physical based opponents your almost always going too want too use either the Arrets because of the "juicy" mods or a fcr circlet.
Trangs + Arach = FCR covered. Arreats' mods doesn't outweigh 15% DS and 35% CB.

No on both parts.
You will need higher fcr for some duels, especially a very defensive sorc.
When you do use a helm other than CoA you dont need the 15%ds and 35%Cb, those chars that you line up with that dont deal physical dmg ussualy get done in by one tight twi whirl, and for them Resists are >>>a small damage addition.

the damage gain from arreats +skills and +str will actually give almost exactly the same overall damage as the +15% deadly strike on guillaimes, given absolutely normal bvc gear (grief/beast/enigma/trangs/arachs). The damages literally come out the same
so when you use guillaimes vs arreats, ur trading:
54% AR
6% life leech
+30% all resistances
+5 strength
+20 dexterity
+150 defense
+4 leap
+2 iron skin
+2 increased speed
+2 natural resistance
+2 battle orders
+2 shout
+2 battle command
for 35% crushing blow.
It doesn't take a genius to see thats a horrible trade off. Unless you're dueling a 10k+ hp shapeshifter druid, arreats is strictly better than guillaimes
The damages literally come out the same

I've already done the calculations several times and its really arsing to have to copy/paste it or redo it every time some turdhole asks.
So you know what? enjoy some delicious copy/pasta:
Guillaimes Barb:
435 base damage
+180% damage from strength
+186% damage from fanat
+174% damage from whirlwind
+158% damage from mastery
=3471 damage with 89% deadly strike = 6561 average damage
Arreats Barb:
435 base damage
+185% damage from strenght
+186% damage from fanat
+206% damage from whirlwind
+168% damage from mastery
=3676 damage with 77% deadly strike =6506 average damage
