I tried reading up on crafting items and what levels are best for crafting specific mods on an item, but I just got lost and gave up.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me/point me in the direction of a website that would tell me what level character level to be and what item level to use to craft a +2 pally skills/combat skills +10% or more FCR amulet.
I crafted a +2 def. auras +10 FCR amulet with my sorc, but I dont remember what clvl she was and what ilvl item i used.
The last amulet I crafted ended up with a level 95 requirement which is also not good.
Any help would be much appreciated!

+2 skill amulets are easy. As that is the limiting factor.
You want to gamble amulets with a character of clvl = 93 and craft with that same character. That way, each amulet will have a chance to get +2 skills.
Note that higher clvl don't improve your chances to get +2 skills craft yet it doesn't improve your chance to gamble a rare or magic arrow. Therefore, some people use a clvl 95 character. As far as I know, your clvl doesn't affect the craft in anyway.
P.S. Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the quick response!
You want to gamble amulets with a character of clvl = 93 and craft with that same character.
So any amulet gambled by a level 93+ has a chance of getting +2 skills?
EDIT: My highest character level at the moment is 90. Should I have a 93+ gamble an amulet for me or is it possible for me to gamble one that is high enough ilvl to get the +2 skills?
item level of the magic/rare/crafted amulet to be able to have +2 *character* skills affix has to be 90. That's why you won't find much +2skills amulet from drops (only Baal, Nihlathak and Diablo drop items with high enough ilvl.
For what affixes can spawn at different items, use this affix calc (http://diablo3.ingame.de/spiel/expansion/itemdb/affix_index.php?lang=en&version=lod&patch=111)
Now gambled items item level = randomly chosen from character lvl -5 to character lvl +4.
So if you want a rare/magic amulet with +2skills, it's best to gamble it with clvl (character level) at least 95 - all gambled amulets will have at least ilvl90, thus, that affix is available (not granted) on them.
For Crafting the ilvl of crafted item is [clvl/2]+[ilvl/2] where [] means rounding down and ilvl is an ilvl of input item.
This way gambled amulet with clvl=93 has ilvl allways at least 88. And when crafted with the same character, ilvl of crafted amulet is [93/2]+[88/2]=46+44=90.
Not that you can get +2 skills amulet when gambled+crafted with lower lvl character, but the chance of getting amulet with ilvl<90 is higher and higher with each level.
EDIT with lvl 90 character, half of the gambled amulets will not be able to get +2skills affix.
Also half of the crafted amulets gambled with the same character will not be able to get +2skills affix.
So any amulet gambled by a level 93+ has a chance of getting +2 skills?
No.
any amulet your gambled and craft with a character of lvl 93+ will have a chance of getting +2 skills.
If you want to gamble for rare or magic amulets with +2 skills, you need to be lvl 95.
EDIT: My highest character level at the moment is 90. Should I have a 93+ gamble an amulet for me or is it possible for me to gamble one that is high enough ilvl to get the +2 skills?
that won't work. If you want to craft with a character of lvl 90, you want to gamble with a character of level 95.

I can gamble a +2 skills magic ammy and craft it with a level 90 character and be able to get a +2 skills 10 fcr right?
+2 skills magic ammy = ilvl 90
(clvl90/2) + (ilvl90/2) = 90
Yes you can, if the amulet has +2skills affix (not +2 skill tab!), it is at least ilvl90, so you can craft it with clvl90 and it will allways have possibility for +2skills, but you will still miss a lot of the amulets which are ilvl>=90, but not spawn with +2 skills (for potential crafting...)
IMHO getting to lvl 93 is not hard at all and it's really worth it.

I see.
My goldfind barb gets 300k plus per run so gambling a +2 all skills magic ammy isnt really a problem, but I quess I will shoot for 93. Wouldn't hurt.
Time to dust off the Ondals!
Thanks all for the help!
