I've been toying around with auradins a lot lately (this will be my third rebuild if I make it) and, after trying a vengeance auradin and a charger I've settled on a zealot. But I noticed that there's a bit of a problem with attack rating. So after a lot of thought I said hey, why not use beast in a Caduceus? You could potentially get some cool +skills (zeal and/or conviction) and you can hit the four frame attack with only 13% more ias than is already on the weapon. Also it gives you 80% more attack rating. I just thought I'd try to get some opinions on the weapon choice before making a costly runeword in an item with little retrade value and getting another character rushed. So...what do you guys think?

P.S: Please no general putdowns (eg, auradins suck don't build one).

I've done it, it works. I was running a slightly different build, but yes, the beast is a good idea. (Someone with more experience might contradict me)

wouldnt angelic rings + amu sort this problem out? (2 rings 1 amu) ? + if pvm give act 1 merc faith bow for fana that has ias + more dmg + more ar ( this does magic )

if pvp, i have no ideas ^^

I was talking pvp, and angelics are nice and all but you just lose so many good mods using that combo. For melee chars I generally like to stick to two ravenfrosts and a metalgrid amulet. You get massive dex, a good bit of AR (up to 950), resists, defense, cannot be frozen and heavy cold absorb.

Grief is the best one-handed weapon. For Ar issues, probably look for charms or jewelery imo.
