Hey everyone. I just finished making an awesome BvC and he's doing very well. I have near perfect equipment (had to sacrifice other good chars though) and found that he does very well with all characters. The only trouble I have is getting used to hotkeys. I usually have leap on left click and "A" for WW, "S" for teleport and "D" for zerk. 1-4 are still for pots, "W" is weapon switch and F1-F3 are Battle command, BO, and shout.
After all that do you guys feel this is the easiest hotkey setup or not? Right now this seems my only problem. Sometimes I will mean to hotkey teleport and accidentally do a whirl and vice versa. I'm trying to get more PvP experience but its hard to learn when I keep running into hammers and FB's because I make an error on my keyboard. I'm considering putting zerk on left click and replacing leap with "D". Dunno but wanted some feedback on it..
Thanks for the help...

Everyone is going to have different hotkeys, just use whatever works best for you.
Personally I use q- switch, w-t, a-g, z-n, space as hotkeys for all my chars although I deviate from that a little here and there on various chars. I general I try to keep the most used hotkeys on any char in the easy to reach wasd position or nearby, so w/a/s/d will be my most important hotkeys, and e/r/f/g/z/x/c/v/space being the rest of the combat hotkeys which are not too far away.
For my bvc I used the following setup:
q = switch weapon
shift = stand still
leftclick is always zerk.
rightclick hotkeys:
w = unsummon
a = leap
s = tele
d = ww
z = shout
x = bo
c = bc
e = howl
reason for leftclick zerk is that you can chainlock using leftzerk->righttele->leftzerk->etc this makes for much easier chasing than trying to use pure rightclick chainlocks.
Everything else on rightclick for hotkeying.
Once again, everyone has their own hotkeys that are most comfortable for that player.
These keys (and wasd in general for every char) happened to have worked out great for me, allowing me to think less about my hotkeys in combat and more about the duel itself. Others may have setups that work better for them, hotkeying is just about comfort.

It depends on what build you use.
If you play as a ghost or V/T which require constant key changing you can optimize your play by using good key combos(I.E. qw,as,zx for a V/T)
i just use f1-f8.
all my chars are sorc/zon so neh.
This is what I use for my barbs:
Left click: Zerk
Rightclick:
A=Teleport
S=Whirlwind
D=Leap
F=Throw
Z/X/C=Battle Command, Battle Orders, Shout
R=Enchant (for fast access to chant when equipping Demon Limb)

I've gotten alot better with mine. I just had to get used to it.
F1-F3 are Battle command, BO and shout
W- Weapon switch
Shift- Stand still
A- WW
S- Teleport
D- Leap
Haven't really needed to delay teleport. I guess when I get better I'll assign that with an "F". As of recently zerk has always been only left click and thats worked out well.
also a question how do you change your hotkeys?

Just hover over the skill with your cursor (the gauntlet thing in the game). Hold down "shift" and then press whatever key on the keyboard you want to assign it too. If you're still having trouble go to "options" and you can change the controls on it from the configure option.
I had trouble for years on that but its very simple, let me know if you still have trouble.
