Hello!
Im building a sorc on EuHCL and i would like it to be as safe as possible. I normaly have problems with 3 type of monsters, Dolls, Souls/gloams(those anoying lightning ghosts and frenzy Taurs(who snipes form half a screen:S).

As far as i know dolls deal 50%phys and 50% fire dmg when they explode, Frenmzy Taurs deal Physical dmg and gloams/souls deal lightning dmg.

Now a lot of ppl on Bnet have told me that Souls/gloams deal 50%lightning and 50%Phys dmg!
I would really like to know if this is correct or not!

Could any one answer this?

Full lightning.

Are you certain? IIRC one of these guides mentions that PDR works against Gloams, though I don't have the time to check up on it now.

I guess that decides it, though 1600/4 is only 400, I can see that with 5 minions on the same time, it can easy go up to 1000 damage. However 90-95% resist would really be usefull against souls then, of course stacked so conviction doesn't beat you anyway.

Okey, now im even more confused.
Some ppl say lightning+Phys and some insist on only lightning.
Do any one know for sure?

Who would you thrust if you can choose between one person who looks directly at the files the game uses, that displayed how the game works, or a person that you enjoy playing with?

We can't trust the game programmers to have used the game file correctly. Thought I would probably trust RTB more.

Trust RTB.

Aye this is sound advice.

Only one thing to add: Trust Hrus and stephan.

Let's assume there was no authority then :). How would you then decide what you'd thrust in? Would you try to test it yourself? Because testing yourself kind of removes the point of asking in the first place doesn't it?

My zealot with max lightning res and absorb from T-God's suffers no or nearly no damage from gloams/souls, so there cannot be any physical damage involved, at least not enough to inflict more damage than healed by 20 absorb.

Who? You mean Roy Thomas Baker?

Yup I always tell people to put on TGod's when they get killed in baal runs from souls (but often their res isn't maxed anyway:whistling:). I can stand in a pack of 'em with the 85 res and with what little sorb is on the Belt makes the damage almost null/void. Makes no sense to me that they have any physical damage, and if they did I never noticed (unless the souls have "hidden" physical damage and TGod's has "hidden" physical resist or PDR...mmmm...no.)
