Diablo II Expansion D2music?

Hi, When im installing Diablo II Expansion, i insert the Play disc and let it download... .... .... ... Then it freezes. It freezes on a file called d2music.mpq and then it tells me to insert the Play Disc again?

I had this same problem; it was very fussy about copying this file, either via the installation program or manually. I finally got it to work once on a manual copy, if you can make that work just copy d2music.mpq to your d2 install directory and then the xpac installer won't ask for it when you upgrade.

Thanks.. I tried that but then it said that it wouldnt work, so i searched it up and i found out it was on read-only mode or whatever? So now when i try to take it off of Read Only mode it comes up with an error "An error occured applying attributes"


Btwe if you want to know how i tried to take read only mode off i right clicked d2xmusic.mpq AND the D2MUSIC.MPQ and i checked off read only.. but i get the error

files on cds are read only

its most likely a corrupt file, or scratched disc

if you get errors copying the files from the cd, clean the disc and try again
if they continue
create a blizzard account (https://us.battle.net/login/login.xml)
register your games (https://us.battle.net/login/add-game.xml) (D2 and LOD keys)
then you can download and install them
