I found that wonderful weapon myself and I have to do something with it before the ladder season ends. Maybe a weapon+shield WW barb ? It reaches the final breakpoint, even when zoded and it has range 3. However, AFAIK its ctc static won't trigger with WW, right ?
Or better a frenzy barb, maybe together with an eth Eternity scourge ? Conc or zerk are not an option, these skills suck versus crowds and I'm doing PvM alone nearly all of the time.
Or perhaps an entirely different character ? What do you think ?
What I did when I found one of those a few years back was making the build for which it is the best possible weapon to have: Blade Fury sin.
Using blade fury+some DTalon doesn't use dura and if you stick a Jah in it (wont be worth much after the reset) you have CB, nice DMG, ctc static field and ignores targets defence. It's pretty much all a blade fury needs! Well, more on this, in the 'Sin forum... I would gladly give some advice that helped me out...
I think a Frenzy barb would be better than a WW barb since the most rare and usefull mod on this beutifull weapon, the ctc Static, won't help you at all if you WW.

That blade fury assassin seems to be a good idea, thanks ! I never played one so far while I already played at least a dozen WW and WW barbs...

Another fun option is the Wind Shifter druid. You essentially syngerise the nado proc adding some aoe. This makes hurricane a viable option for elemental and more aoe damage providing you dont mind mind reshifting every 42 seconds.
the WindWolf (http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/showthread.php?p=5851789)
You End up with a really powerful Cyclone Armor this way!
I still think the best use of this item is a bfury/kicker/trapper
Even though this is the wrong forum for Assassins I can give a few general advice. There aare some pretty old guides but they give some good info on the BF skill, there is the Furysin (http://strategy.diabloii.net/news.php?id=565) in the strat.comp. and there is also the stickied (and not so old) WariorMonk guide focused on the Übers that could give you some good info. some quick ones, though:
1) You need AR even though it looks like you auto hit or something in the LCS, for your true chance to hit check with normal attack. That is why the Jah is kinda crucial in the Stormlash, a cheaper way about is an Eth but Jah is hands down the best! This is the reason I went with DTalon too, to get some way of taking down bosses in a timely fashion. A good way to help you hit those random uniques is to buff up with enchant from a demon limb or Lavagout (a decent pair of gloves for this build!).
2) BF doesn't use durabillity, nor does DTalon however, Blade Shield does, I think Blade Sentinel does and if/when you get mana burned and starts swinging the weapon the old school way you will loose dura, so be cautious (or just charsi it at reset ).
3) You are looking for the standard physical dmg mods from gear, such as +min/max, +ED%, CB%, DS%, some OW%. However you don't need IAS. Adding elemental damage from stuff like Tiamants, charms and the likes are kinda cool too, if you have some of those charms.. duress/fort, gores/WTs, guillaumes, HL are all very nice items
4) Your main skill is a 1pt wonder, added skills to BF only adds a small fixed amount of dmg. The big dmg comes from that weapon of yours and the rest of the gear. This leaves room for customizing, maxing Venom is a good idea, getting Traps (or at least DS) is a good idea. Like I've said DTalon is also a good idea, but there is a possibillity you will be pretty much the standard kicker, but still.. ;)
5) You really need to be an Assassin, you have to be dodgy, sneaky and use all your secret weapons. Use your Cloak of Shadows and Mindblast.
EDIT: The thing about the WindFury druid is that you loose one frame in attack speed. This makes the use of this specific stormlash is that it would be a worse choise than the non eth variant.

an eth 'lash with a Zod in it would be an awesome Zeal or druid Fury weapon.
or go the b-fury'sin route.
mystified
