Well, as the title says, in the old days I've always enjoyed playing in a clan, and eventhough I've made some new friends since my return here, I'd still like the idea of getting back into a clan.
I'll be playing the new ladder, and keep most of my stuff active on nonladder, but mostly I'll just be playing the new ladder.
If a few people are interested in being in a clan as well, but nobody knows a clan, we can start our own clan if need be, just drop me a line here.
As for the other part, Tcobo, in my old clan, I "invented" a minigame in Diablo for amusement.
"There can only be one"
Essentially, everyone starts with a new lvl1 character, you play together for one hour exactly, and then duel eachother with those characters.
(there are ofcourse some rules as to keep it a little balanced, but those will be explained when I got some people who are interested)
Maybe this kind of minigame already exists, if it does, I have no idea, I came up with this idea myself long ago.
Hmm, i'm actually in need of some nice people to play with, but i was thinking about going HC next season. In that case nice party is a must as public games = nogo because all the pkers.
If i won't get some nice HC party together, which i doubt i will count me in.

I'm mostly gonna play EuScL, have a little fun with EuScNL, but I might also give EuHcL a try (but not full time, more as a sideproject)
So, drop me a line whenever you feel like playing anything (tcobo requires atleast 3 players) *redflux
(don't forget to put your account here, so I know who's whisping me)
Hey, I ll probably start playing the new ladder as well.. played for a couple of months last season.. got two or three chars to 85+ but only had one good friend there which was ok but more would have been nicer. So when you start playing I would like to "join" in one way or another.. having a couple of D2 friends on msn or something like that would be great.

Yeah i definitely would like some friends on D2 to play with and that tcobo sounds kinda fun, i wouldn't mind trying that out but I'd like to go SC all the way to nightmare with a party if that's what your interested in as well.

thats definitely one of the things I had in mind
Hi,
I am also interested in some new friends or a clan. I play DII ladder an hour here and there, as my son and wife also need attention :whistling:
I will play the new ladder and have already created an account for it: *rogier1.13, my current ladder and non ladder account is *rogier1.11.
If you add me as a friend, please let me know your account so that i can add you as well. Looking forward to playing in a nice party again.
Rogier
Hey Rogie.. my account is *S8AN111 I ll add you when I get on bnet.

Hi guys, sorry about not replying sooner, totally forgot about this thread *feels ashamed*
But the new ladder is still a definate go for me
I will be playing SC 95% of the time, with 1 HC character for fun
tcobo isn't the way I always play, only once per week for fun, if I can gather the people for it (check my FAT threads in the Europe Trade Forum)
Still, it's great fun, a small challenge, and in the end you get to keep a(n almost) permed mule

I'm up for this. One of the things that has saddened me most since my return to D2 is my lack of friends so this sounds like a fun way to make friends and kick off the ladder season. My account is *RoryMACG92
What do you guys think of setting up some facebook group or something of that sort?

I don't have facebook and I don't think a group is really necessary.

For the sake of playing the natural way, or boosting/dueling/running: agreed.
But for something like "There can only be one", if we can find enough people interested, it would be nice to have a permanent place where you can find eachother, and new people can find you (website, sticky) but I'm not too sure facebook is a decent option either.

welcome to gauss (http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=678644)sanctuary, i am there and never regreted it.
hm, a clan would be real nice for next ladder. you can count me in! :) but if the ladder reset comes in the middle of summer, i will have some trubble playing in the begining. but i will come back and help as fastest i can. but i have been looking for a clan a long time, so if it's ok for you guys, sign me up :D
about a meeting place, can't we just make a channel with the same name as the clan??? would be easy for everyone, then you don't need things like facebook.
my account name now and on next ladder is: Birkthe1 (later on the ladder i will use my other 2 accs; Birkthe2, Birkthe3. if u can't find me on first acc try the others)
P.S. cuz of my very low posts on this forum(xD) doesn't make me less experience than the rest of you
Well webpage with forum would obviously be ideal but I am not sure that would be an option. One more thing came into mind..how about IRC?channel on diablo is a good idea but if noone from the "group" is online I dont think I d just have d2 running in the background. IRC tho should be ok. Last time I used it is about 3 years ago but I think it would serve us well
