little help with my dress code :P

hey guys im very new to this game and very new to this forum so please bare with me ;\

i just srated a barbarian coz i like the idea of tanking through hordes of enemies :P he he ...so i picked to go whirl wind and have very high defense and resistances. i just srated hell mode and my statistics look like this.

resistances - fire 65% - cold 75% - lighting 75% and poison 58%
my defence is 2500 atm but thats with 160% boost from stone skin ;\
and my dmg is 400 to 700 with a nooby 6 socket sword that i made ;\.


i was wondering if u guys can help give me some advie on what equipment i should wear to boost my attack dmg and defence but keep my resistance almost maxed ;\..


also anything u can donate would be very nice i just started and so far have no high runes lol only pgems ;\..

1) If we give you high runes you won't appreciate earning them ;)

2) Where are your resists coming from?

3) If you want more defense, an act 2 norm/hell defensive merc will help out with defiance aura. If you want more damage, snag yourself an act 2 nightmare offensive merc. The difficulty matters because the mercenaries in nightmare have different auras than the norm/hell ones :)

thanks for your post :D ...im sorry about posting about the high runes at the bottom ..tbh i don't want high runes rather find them myself was sort of meaning any kind of useful gear u guys have lying around but now i decided i don't want hand outs rather get them myself half the fun is when the perfect item drops :D

most of my resistances are coming from my 56% to all shield and then my 58 or 59% natural res skill ;\.

but im thiking of dropping the shield for a more powerful 2 handed weapon...

what is the best type of sword to look out for?... i don't mean any set items or uniques i think im best starting with maybe just a magic executioners sword or something do u get any good ones?

as far as cheap sword goes, lightsabre (unique phase blade) is decent temp if you are going sword route.
look for some cheap unique swords available via trade with couple of gems, and focus your damage toward crushing blow. This will be only way for now.

I am assuming you put a lot of point into natural resist and iron skin?

if you did, for future reference, shout gives same bonus as iron skin, but wil make duration of batte order just a bit longer. which is good
