Frenzy Question

When I start frenzy with my clvl 35 barb, I can't help but noticing that the attack speed is a bit slow. Is the speed of the first frenzy swing dependant on the weapon in your right hand or is this normal? I noticed that when I use a faster weapon in the right hand, I swing faster. Please Clarify. I use a Gleamscythe and Cleglaw's claw(sword).

At your level you really should be using other weapons. With that said, you do want to note that until your frenzy starts going your weapon's speed is a factor.

Thanks for the info.btw I us players 8 and am still in Travincal at normal. I also play in sp so I cant really trade for better weapons. Anyway what weapons would you suggest?

For a lower level barb, King's Grace is a really cheap rune word that you should be able to make with self-found runes. It offers some decent life leech and damage modifiers against demons and undead. Malice is even cheaper, but you'll need to have another piece of gear on that gives you +5 life replenish to cancel out Malice's -5.

In terms of some basic uniques, Hellplague isn't bad and it drops fairly often. Bloodletter is also pretty common and it's decent. And of course, be on the lookout for rare swords.

that's prolly your prob. play on 1 player until you beat meph, buy/gamble some war hammers in act 4 (good ones are +ias +ed) and keep running meph until you get better gear. cleglaws absolutely owns ONLY if you have the gloves with it. else it's not worth the weapon slot.

Thanks but I invested in sword mastery so I don't really want to use maces. I'll try to get those runewords. Thanks for the help.

Bloodletters are good swords for that level.

Thanks fwing. Ran Meph in players 1 and got some unique and some sets. Still waiting for a weapon though.
