Hey guys,

I'm currently working on a GF Council Hunting Amazon, and I've posted a thread (http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=723985) in the Amazon forums, however they have been unable to answer some of my questions.

I plan to be using the Ice Runeword in a -10 speed bow.

My question is on the usage of Magic Arrow vs Cold Arrow. Magic Arrow does 1% of physical damage per level of Magic damage. Cold Arrow does 2% of physical damage per level of Cold damage. Cold does 2x the damage per level put into it, however the Council, in hell, have 0% Magic Resists and 33% Cold Resists. With Cold Enchanted 75+33 = 108, and the Council will be immune to Cold.

Since I only need to worry about these abilities when the Council is immune to physical damage, I ask can the council spawn with Stoneskin and Cold Enhanced at the same time?

If that's a yes, then my choice is clear; Magic Arrow > Cold Arrow.

Otherwise, I noticed that the Magic Resistant affliction increases resistances to elemental damage by 40% each. But does it affect Magic Resistances?

Here's my math. Someone please tell me if I'm doing this correctly. SS + MR = Physical Immune with 73 Cold Resistance. That's about 1/4 of my cold damage being mitigated. Thus my 2% of physical damage per level becomes 1/2. If I swap to Magic Arrow, I'm still getting my 1% physical damage, while saving 21 skill points. Even if MR is 40% Magic Resistance, that's still about .6% per point into Magic Arrow, while saving 21 points.

Any comments on this idea are welcomed.

Some things to consider:
1) AFAIK Magic Reasistant boss attribute only increases resistances for cold, fire, lightning. Not for magic damage.
2) Mana burn will increase magic resistance by 20%
3)If a boss has already 2 immunities, the bonus from his another boss attribute will not affect another resistance type if that resistance is going to be over 100. This prevents monsters from gaining more than 2 immunities.

In our case:
Toorc Icefist: immune to cold and fire. Stone Skin will not do anything (His DR% will remain 50%)
Geleb Flamefinger: immune fire and lightning. Stone Skin again will not do anything, CE will not do anything, magic resistant will up his Cold resistance to 73
Ismail Vilehand: immune to fire only. Stone Skin makes him physical immune (but easy to break with Decrepify or Amplify damage). CE will make him immune to cold. If both attributes are present, only the first one will be counted (in order they come to effect)

EDIT: I will try to read the specifics of your ama before jumping to conclusions.
But 1 conclusion: Barb will be allways the best travincal runner ;)
