introduction and a question

hello all!!
am new to this forum but have been playing d1 and d2 since first came out. i have only played as single player--never on bnet
have been reading all the posts and am amazed that there is still such an interest in this game.
the question i have is this--is it possible to load d2 onto a flash drive?
am asking this because i would love to have a separate drive with all the different versions and play them to see the difference

You can play different versions of single player D2 on one computer with Tren Shadow Version Switcher (See single player forum stickies). Of course you can only use current patch for the online play.
