Picking it back up

Dumb question but have not played in years.

A friend and I picked up D2 playing again. As in any game I am a mage/sorc/ and so on, however, this time I want to smash face with a barb. The problem is we both like the barb. He is going the zerker build and I plan to hit up frenzy.

To get to the question is in his build he is doing +20 in BO

So the question is if BO stacks. As I am going frenzy if BO does not stack should I put 20 into zerker for 10% magic dmg? If it does stack then I would assume take 20 out of zerker and put it into BO for massive HP/MP gain.

BO doesn not stack. Whoever BO's last will make the buff. So if you have lower BO let him BO.

You only need one point in Beserk for the magic damage. Since with + skills you'll do fine against PI's in hell.

Put your extra points in the synergy skill(s) for whatever main skill you're using or the mastery for the weapon class you're using. That will increase your damage well.
