BvC greifz/greifz greifz/beastz dilemma

So anyway, even after being on the forums for a few years and looking around, I never 100% understood the math on the differences between these 2 choices. Granted, greifz/beastz has been the overwhelming choice here, but I can't for the life of me explain how fanatasism adds to greifz. I know that it's 186% ed from beast, but how is that applied?

Just starting with the Base weapon damages...

Greifz 427-481 =454 avg + 20% DS = 544.8 avg
Beastz 88-262 =175 avg

so... thats 544.8/544.8

vs 544.8/175.....

Then what? I looked over the BvC guides and I can't quite get those tables. Olba had given some tables from mcm waaaay back that were sweet but those are long gone I guess. Eventually it would be nice if this leads to a competent/clean sticky in the FAQ's. Thanks in advance-

dont look at forums much anymore but happened to and it seems like something i should know anyways

damage is
[base wep*eth bonus*on wep ed+added damage)=wep damage(eth bonus may be wrong place); then
weapon*(1+off wep ed+skill ed(ie fanatism)+stat bonus)

based on my barb
ww=1.82
mast=1.73
str=1.74
fan=1.86
crit on beastz=.602 (using highlords gore mast)
crit on griefz=.758

so with your damage numbers
beast/grief
grief=454(1+1.86+1.74+1.73+1.82)=3700 *1.758=6505
beast=175(1+1.86+1.74+1.73+1.82)=1426 *1.602=2856
total: 8790 or 1465 pvp

grief/grief
grief=454(1+1.74+1.73+1.82)=2856 *1.758=5021 each
total: 10042 or 1674 pvp

this does not account for the first ww check being only your primary weapon(ie on short whirls grief/beast will actually do more damage)
on long whirls it does not account for the extra ar/cb/ow on beast or the extra life to get coa/extra ias(and ed) for zerk

i would think the benefits of beast far outweigh the extra 200 damage on long whirls before dr/blocking

ok so if thats all correct then frame 4 and 8 in the example above would actually be

greif/beast frame 4= 6505 8 = 6505/2856
=15866

greif/greif frame 4 = 5021 8 = 5021/5021
=15063

So initially greif/beast looks even better, without factoring in OW and other nice mods.
