Use of a berzerker axe?

I remember having a conversation some while ago in these forums where I was being told that a zerk axe is best for grief, but a friend is telling me a phase blade is, and looking at the stats he seems to be right. any instance where a zerk-axe would be a better pick for runewords with barb builds?

(edit: friend typing, PB in a grief only needs 7 offhand ias to get 9 FPA which is the max for Berserk, which is the build we are discussing, zerk ax needs 90, ridiculous)

Greif in berserker axe is better for PvP WW. For WW That axe has better average damage, longer reach (range 3) and lower Dex requirements, which is perfect for a dual-wielded un shielded Barb. Need to roll at least a 34%ias on it tho.
