did you play D1 expansion called Hellfire?

I still got this game along with my original D1, i kno it wasnt highly publicized...its just D1 with some new chars and items and some new monsters....hopefully someone else has played it.

Once you play it with HF. You'll never want to play it plain without it.The spells like Warp takes you to the nearest stairway, Search which lights up your drops. and lightning spells make for a way better game.

Tip. Play the game without the Command.Txt at least once for the Aluric Amulet. It doubles your gold piles to 10'000. This is vital for being able to buy the best armor offf of Wirt!!

Sorry for bucking the trend, but I never really liked hellfire that much. I really didn't like the crypt and nest, as V&K said in their interview a lot of the art looked cheap and the level layout was dull. The music was lame and the "cannot hit within 1 square" for ranged attackers (including the Rogue!) really really annoyed me a lot. They basically put that "feature" in to make it easier for the new Monk - really they should have just made him tougher without having to rely on such crutches.

I consider the D1ME mod to be better than Hellfire in every respect, and the pinnacle of gameplay that Diablo has to offer.
