Cd key currently being used. everytime i save and quit

hello,
i was having a problem where every time i would log on a character it would take like a minute to do, i fixed that problem with port forwarding, however now i have another problem that wasn't fixed by the port forwarding, every time i "save and quit" a online game, it takes me to the battle.net but its frozen for like 5 sec then it logs me out to the log in screen and it says cd key is currently being used by mk which is my diablo account name. i have to wait about 30-60 secs to be able to log back on.
any suggestions?

If you are using a home network router/gateway, have you tried bypassing it and connecting your system directly?

I'd check the ports forwarded and the ip you're forwarding too. If you've got a software firewall I'd configure/disable that too. What you're experiencing is most likely data loss from data packets not being received hence the drop where the game things you're still connected.

As to the topic, check your system process list to see if the game is still running in the background. If it is, end task it. Should fix things.
