lawbringer worth it for chaos?

hello.
I'm new to this forum, and I have a quick question.
I've been doing chaos with my hdin using an act1 merc with ice bow, and I'm pretty happy with her. I have been hearing, however, about using an act3 merc with lawbringer. Is it worth it, or is ice merc more effective?

It may just be me, but won't lawbringers knockback remove targets from your hammer fields?

I'm going to have to +1 the Ice bow setup. Ive messed around with both the A3 merc with lawbringer and the rogue.

I found the repel aura to be more of a PIA then it was worth. Furthmore the damage was less on this merc and it didnt leach.


I use Ice great bow
Ormus with ias jool
Nightwings with ias jool
(this really jacks up the cold arrow damage and that nova is just killer@!)

For chaos the Ice merc reigns supreme. IF your going to be doing massive amounts of Meph runs then the lawbringer is pretty handy at keeping the dolls off you.

Ive never understood pubs fascination with insight mercs on hammers. Redemption more then covers mana. The bow merc engages faster then the stick dude. It isnt like the hammer needs help killing stuff per say and the damage on the ice bow merc setup as I suggested really holds her own (about 6K max iirc). She even lives thru uber runs (I swap her bow to faith to pick ias for smiting and put a res armor on her)
