As a mage, do I use grief PB or Zerk?

When smiting/charging zons etc?

I think PB even tho its lower dmg and lower range, its faster meaning I wont have to switch other gear to reach ias?

The damage on the pb vs ba isn't a huge factor due to the +damage, if you can get the IAS without ruining your build the ba is better just for the +1 range. Both will work, a pb might take a little more time to get the tatics down due to the shorter range or being out ranged by other opponents.
