View Full Version : Holy Shock and Smite, yes or no?
For some reason people on bnet are unable to answer that question...iirc it doesn't but wanted to make sure.
I don't think that really works. If this is for pvp, a better alternative would be a v/t, a pally using smite/fanata and FoH/conviction.
Nope not for pvp, I just need to know if the holyshock damage will apply to smite or not.

HS Zealer FTW.
(I don't really know if it is in fact a good build, I just plan on making one at some point... so... HS Zealer FTW!)

Very fun build, also known as a Tesladin. There are one or two guides floating around. Have fun with it.
For the OP: No.

i have an 82 lvl tesladin right now with a cresc moon which has the -35% enemy light mod. it still pretty much sucks, to be honest. it takes 10 times longer to kill anything than just about anybody else in multiplayer games. its fun to do something different but unless you're going single player or are just going to goof off solo, i wouldnt put the time into it. i dont know if its the low min damage from holy shock or what, but with more than 2 other players in the game, it gets old quick. it's a blast through the end of nightmare, but after that, blech. just my .02 but if you're looking to try a new build for fun, i would go in another direction.
as for the original post, i wouldn't try it out. the game is pretty much designed around using skills that complement each other, which holy shock and smite don't really do.
Dreamadins, on the other hand, do pretty well.
Tesladins have low damage and AR problems. Conviction solves both.
