Account Closed, cant connect to bnet

Ok. My account was closed yesterday. I DO NOT use any third party programs or anything. I was sitting there telling people about my clan and to goto our website and then they shut down the server (UsEast) and my account was closed (1). I know what the 1 represents and i dont know why they would decided to ban me because im putting the clans website up. Thats crazy. Anyway. I tried to get back on and obviously my cdkeys are probably banned. I cant say for sure because when i click on the realm to login it just flashes something and goes back to the menu. When i tried to logon to West it says cant connect. I have now gotten new cdkeys and reinstalled and I am still getting the same thing but i can connect to Asia and Europe and login to those if i wanted. So why can't i connect to East or West?? Someone help please.

As you say (1) is advertising an inappropriate website
Inappropriate websites may include sites that promote or provide game hacks, programs with embedded virus code, pornography, or other destructive or intrusive materials that are not appropriate on Battle.net.

So I'd take a close look at what files your clan has up. I'd do it before you start advertising your clan again.

Bear in mind I have limited Bnet experience but you could try resetting the server list: like this (http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?articleId=21138).

If that doesn't work then poke around Blizzard's help site (http://us.blizzard.com/support/index.xml?gameId=1). There's a big section on CD keys etc.

we dont have any files up on our website. just information and forums. thats it. but ill try that method and hopefully it works.

ok PM sent. now, i tried making going on Europe and Asia. It lets me make accounts but when it comes to making a new character, i click on it, give a name and click ok and then it just goes back to the screen with all of the characters standing in front of a fire to make the character again. I go back a screen and there is no characters there. This is driving me crazy. I just would like to get back on Useast, so if anyone has any ideas or can tell me whats going, please do.

Edit: Ok un/reinstalled and now i can make characters on Asia and Europe but still getting Cant Connect on West and East i dont get anything. BTW, East was the realm i was on when i was banned.

If you are banned there really isn't anything you can do about it. TBH i don't think the bans only extend to inappropriate websites but spamming your website in general. Specially if you used a spambot which is against the TOS. If you say you were typing it in person then /shrug. If you know you used a bot to do your advertising then you have your answer.

If you used any third party program like d2loader or a chatbot then this enough for you to be banned spamming or no spamming.

well, i wasnt banned. just my account was closed. i was just talking to people in a public channel and telling them to go to a website and blizzard told me that im not allowed to post a website in a public channel and thats why my account was closed. blizzard told me a staff member witnessed me. no bots for me. i play the real way. :)
