Please, I Really Need Help

First, I am not sure this is a bug but I really need help with it. My brother was playing a game and exited out of Diablo 2 when he lost connection without logging out. Now when I try to get on it says someone is already using my CD-Key. Is there any way to use it again or will he have to buy me a whole new Key?

it should go away within few minutes or just do ctrl+alt+del and end the process

I have been away from the game or around 1 hour or so and it still says that. I am going to try rebooting my computer and see if that works.

Its normally just lag and disappears after around 10 - 20 minutes.
And jsut hope that no one actually has gotten hold of your Cd-keys.

I am sorry it took a long time to reply, but I rebooted my computer and it worked perfectly. It was running 2 of the game but only one window was open. If I ended the process, it said it could corupt data and cause system failure so that was a no-no. if this happens to anyone else, just reboot.

Happened to me once, but you dont necessarily have to reboot, wait a while then turn off and on your internet router, worked for me tho :D

It's happening to me right now. It happens to me sometimes when my internet connection goes down and I try to reconnect to game too soon. Usually it doesn't take too long after reconnecting to internet without doing anything else.

The bpox that comes up actually says
"If you had an internet connection error, wait 5 minutes for this to resolve"
