I'm guessing you are new to Diablo2?

You can get up to +9 Minimum, and +20 Maximum damage. On top of up to 200% Enhanced Damage.

You should browse through the stickies on this forum to get a feel for what you should be looking for.

I think his point was the fact that there are only 2 mods despite the item being a rare. +min damage prefix+suffix?

Had no idea there was a +min prefix in classic. In LOD there is a +max prefix and suffix on jewels. That's all i know...
